This Friday, June 5th at 7:00 PM Imago Dei Anglican Church is hosting an event open to the public for anyone who wants prayer for a sickness or hurt in the body, mind, or soul. This event is being hosted at Imago Dei’s meeting location at the Union Street Brick Church at 126 Main St in Bangor.

Organizers describe this event on Facebook as follows:

We live in a time when our human answers for pain are often coming up short. Our medications only work for so long; the counseling only goes so far; the surgery can’t fix everything; the addiction remains…

Jesus came to Earth to destroy the works of Satan (1 John 3:9). He devoted himself to healing the sick, driving out demons, and teaching about what life looks like when God is King. At Restore Bangor, we are taking our place as disciples of the One whose life, death, and resurrection waged a war against sickness, oppression, poverty, hatred, and even death itself.

At Restore Bangor, trained teams of men and women minister personally in prayer to anyone who is sick or hurting in their mind, soul, or body, believing that it is God’s heart to heal and restore, until everything is “on Earth as it is in Heaven”. Come join us, joining with Jesus in the restoration of all things.

You may or may not follow Jesus, but you can still experience his healing. No RSVP is necessary.

If you have questions feel free to post on the Facebook event.
